About me

I'm a full-stack engineer based in Tokyo. I work across the whole stack — React and Next.js on the front, the services and data behind it — and I care as much about how a system is shipped, tested, and run as about the code itself. Most of my work comes down to judgement: deciding what's worth building, choosing the simplest design that will hold up, and being clear about the trade-offs so the people around me can make good decisions too. I write about some of those decisions here.
